Study on the influencing factors and protective measures of internal corrosion in natural gas gathering and transportation pipelines
With the extension of the operation time of natural gas gathering and transportation pipelines, the problem of corrosion inside the pipelines is becoming increasingly prominent. Therefore,in order to ensure the efficient and safe operation of natural gas gathering and transportation pipelines, the hanging piece weight loss method is used indoors to evaluate the factors affecting corrosion inside the target natural gas gathering and transportation pipelines, and the corrosion protection measures are studied. The results show that the higher the experimental temperature, the higher the partial pressure of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, and the higher the mineralization degree, the greater the corrosion rate of the hanging piece. However, the longer the experimental time, the corrosion rate first increases and then decreases.Under the same experimental conditions, adding different types of corrosion inhibitors can achieve good corrosion protection effects, among which the effect of corrosion inhibitor TR-2 is relatively better. When the dosage of corrosion inhibitor TR-2 reaches 120 mg/L,the corrosion inhibition rate can reach 95.7%,and the corrosion rate of the hanging piece can be reduced to below 0.076 mm/a,indicating good corrosion protection effect. The content of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide in natural gas has a significant impact on the corrosion rate inside gathering and transportation pipelines, and adding corrosion inhibitors can effectively slow down the corrosion rate of gathering and transportation pipelines.
