The development and promotion of ultra-low-energy building technology in Ningxia has not been long,and there are very few physical cases of its application in agricultural buildings.Taking Hongde Village in Hongsibao Town,Wuzhong City,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region as an example,the plan layout,structure type,enclosure structure,and energy use of the farmhouse were investigated to analyse the problems of the existing farmhouse.By improving the building thermal insulation performance and making full use of the abundant local solar energy resources,the optimised ultra-low energy consumption farmhouse is analysed for energy saving,and the design scheme of the ultra-low energy consumption farmhouse and the appropriate technical model suitable for the local area are proposed,which provide a reference for the construction of ultra-low energy consumption farmhouses in the Ningxia area.
