Near-zero Energy Retrofit Strategy for Existing Office Buildings in Hot Summer and Cold Winter Areas——An Example of a Project in Suzhou
Energy saving and carbon reduction in the building sector is crucial to the realisation of China's"double-carbon"goal,and the development of ultra-low-energy buildings and near-zero-energy buildings is an important step towards achieving this goal.Compared with new buildings,large-scale renovation of existing buildings has greater energy-saving potential, and controlling the operational energy consumption of existing buildings will become the focus of energy-saving work.Taking the near-zero energy retrofit project of an existing office building in Suzhou as a case study,we introduce the retrofit goals and technology paths of the project, and classify and analyse the passive, active and renewable energy application technology strategies adopted in the project to achieve the goal of near-zero energy consumption,so as to provide meaningful references for the promotion of near-zero energy consumption projects and the practice of technology application in hot summer and cold winter areas.
