Research on the Influence of Modular Steel Structure Residential Facades on Building Energy Consumption——An Example of Shanghai
The thermal performance of the external envelope directly affects the building energy consumption. In order to find a favourable façade for modular steel-framed residential buildings in hot-summer and cold-winter regions, based on a typical rural residential project, annual energy consumption simulations were carried out for the design building and the reference building with six types of façades to analyse the differences in building energy consumption. The results show that insulated moulded card block masonry wall and cement fibre board light steel keel combination wall are more beneficial to the modular steel structure building energy saving, the insulation material and its thickness significantly affect the energy saving effect, and the thermal parameters of the reference buildings with different external walls are different while it is not possible to reflect the difference in energy saving effect of the external walls by the energy saving rate of the enclosure structure in a simple way,so as to provide references for the selection of the external walls of the similar projects.
