Carbonization of Steel Slag in Construction Materials Research Progress
As global warming becomes more and more serious,the research on greenhouse gas capture,utilization and sequestration technology is getting more and more attention and concern from all sides.At the same time,as a typical bulk industrial solid waste in China,steel slag has a large cumulative stockpile and a low comprehensive utilization rate,which seriously restricts the healthy development of iron and steel enterprises,and the environmental pollution problem is very prominent.In recent years,many experts and scholars at home and abroad on the preparation of steel slag used in the preparation of building materials for a large number of studies,found that steel slag in the CO2-rich environment has a good carbonation reaction activity,after the carbonation reaction volume stability and mechanical properties have been significantly optimized,and can be used as a raw material for building materials,so the carbonization of steel slag preparation of building materials will be an ideal way to utilize the resources of steel slag,and has a good ddevelopment prospects.From the material properties of steel slag,carbonization principle and carbon sequestration method,the application and research progress of carbonized steel slag in building materials are reviewed,the carbonization utility of steel slag and its products,carbon sequestration efficiency and influencing factors are analyzed and discussed,and the research direction is further analyzed and pointed out in view of the main problems in the research status quo.
