Research on the Correlation between Spatial Form and Ventilation Efficiency of Slab Tower Mixed High-rise Residential Area
The quality of the outdoor wind environment in high-rise settlements is directly related to the quality of life of the residents.Taking the urban climate of Wuhan as the background,14 mixed-type high-rise districts with slab and tower in central Wuhan were sampled to summarise the spatial morphology of typical high-rise districts in Wuhan, and to explore the relationship between spatial morphology of the mixed-type high-rise districts with slab and tower and the efficiency of ventilation. It is found that an increase in the number of slab-type high-rise buildings has little effect on the area of outdoor low-wind areas of row-type slab-tower hybrid high-rise residential areas but can improve the ventilation efficiency, while a staggered row-type slab-tower hybrid high-rise residential area increases the area of outdoor low-wind areas and reduces the wind resistance index, but the level of the reduction is smaller than that of the row-type building layout. The conclusions of the study provide some references for other cities in hot summer and cold winter regions.
