Carbon Footprint Nucleic Acid Method and Example Calculation for Rock Wool Products
Rock wool has become a mainstream thermal insulation material in the field of building energy efficiency, but there are few carbon footprint accounting methods and example studies related to rock wool products in China.Taking rock wool products as the research object,we refer to the relevant literature at home and abroad to study its carbon footprint accounting method, and take a rock wool production enterprise as an example to carry out carbon footprint assessment and explore the key factors of greenhouse gas emissions in its life cycle. The results show that the carbon footprint of rock wool products of this enterprise is 1.49 tCO2e/t,of which the CO2 emitted during the production stage accounts for nearly 80%of the whole life cycle of the product, which is the most important link in reducing the carbon footprint and upgrading the products to be green and low-carbon.The results of the study can provide guidance and suggestions for enterprises to carry out subsequent green and low-carbon upgrading of products, and provide reference for the basic data of carbon emissions in the industry.
