How Far is Central Plain Study from the Chinese Study in the New Era and the Chinese Study of the World
Central plain culture,together with Yellow River culture,is the core and the leader of the overall process of Chinese civilization.In order to take on the new cultural mission in the new era,build up the modern civi-lization of Chinese nation,and create a new form of human civilization,we should orient and study the central plain culture and the Yellow River culture from the height of building China's independent knowledge system,and promote the expression of the central plain culture and the Yellow River culture in the scholarly,academic,disciplinary,and school way so as to continuously enhance the influence of Chinese culture.In the view of the Chinese study in the new era and the Chinese study of the world,central plain study should establish its two research directions:the modern civilization of the Chinese nation and the new form of human civilization.It should also answer well the four core questions:Xi Jinping thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era is the essence of Chinese culture and Chinese spirit,the relationship between Chinese road and Chinese civilization road,how to deepen the Central plain study on the basis of Chinese modernization,and how to promote the international expression of central plain study.In this way,central plain study can transcend its regional category and go toward the Chinese study and the study of the world.
