The Confucian principle of loyalty and forgiveness is praised as the"golden rule".Applying it to oneself,one can achieve the best of himself or herself,and applying it to others,other people will get love and bene-fit.As a method of benevolence and a way toward awareness,the principle of loyalty and forgiveness has important values in organizational management,namely,perfecting the individual personality,forming the harmonious interper-sonal relationship,constructing the organizational ecology,and achieving the prospected goal.From the perspective of modern management,leaders should first,as a premise,examine the practical limitation of the principle of loyalty and forgiveness,then creatively transform and apply it in the work:strengthen self-cultivation and establish the faith in loyalty and responsibility;uphold the heart of charity and create the inclusive space;optimize the mechanism construction and gather the cohesiveness of the organization;integrate the way of nature and humanity to achieve the development goal.
