This article explores the design of ideological and political education in clinical medicine from both"Dao"and"Shu"perspectives,taking the example of traditional Chinese medicine courses.It aims to discuss the i-deological and political education design for the clinical medicine major.This approach seeks to enhance the interest of clinical medicine students in learning outstanding traditional culture and traditional medicine,strengthen their sense of national pride,and foster national confidence and cultural self-assurance.From the perspective of"Dao",it discusses from three dimensions:value guidance,knowledge expansion,and ability enhancement,helping students to have a correct understanding of the excellent traditional culture of the motherland,interpersonal relationships,and complex international relations today,forming correct values,outlook on life,and worldview.The"Shu"level com-bines ideological and political education with professional knowledge,embodying the principles of subtlety,everyday applicability,and imaginative thinking.This approach aims to inspire students'affection for traditional Chinese medicine while cultivating their capability to address challenges through interdisciplinary integration.
