Research on the Problem of Motivating the New Generation of Employees
In recent years,the new generation of employees in the enterprises has grown in number,occupying a continuously increased proportion.They have formed a huge team in the workplace.While bringing the new strength to the enterprises,they also bring the new challenges to the enterprise management.The new generation of employ-ees have some characteristics,for example,they receive a high-degree education,they have the strong ability in studying with broad view,they have the courage to innovate while emphasizing their own feeling,and they have di-versified and personalized needs.These characteristics of the new generation of employees have exposed some new problems in the traditional enterprise incentive mechanism such as incomplete performance appraisal and salary sys-tem in the enterprise,the narrow channel for the employee's promotion and communication,and the neglect of em-ployee's vocational training &planning and corporate culture.In order to solve the problems existed in motivating the new generation of employees and satisfy the requirement for the development of modern enterprises,it is necessa-ry to establish a scientific salary system,a diverse and effective performance reward system,and a complete and fair promotion system.It is also necessary to establish a complete,scientific and efficient vocational training system,a scientific and reasonable exclusive career development plan,an effective communication mechanism,and a people-oriented corporate culture.
