雾霾天气下车牌识别系统设计

近年来,随着城市化进程的加速和人口增长,工业和交通尾气的排放、能源的消耗等原因导致雾霾天气在我国的各大城市屡见不鲜。雾霾天气还对交通、旅游等领域的发展带来负面影响。在智慧交通领域,雾霾天气会导致车辆不易通过路口、限速道路等路段,交通管制实施得更为严格,影响道路的通行能力和交通流量。为解决雾霾天气对交通带来的负面影响,各地政府和企业积极探索应对雾霾天气的车牌识别系统。本车牌识别系统总体设计方案大致分为五大步骤,图像去雾处理、图像预处理、车牌定位、字符分割、字符识别。以STM32H7系列高性能芯片为内核对车牌识别系统进行设计,搭载OV5640进行图像采集以及1。4英寸彩色IPS的LCD硬屏进行初步显示,最终实时传输识别信息至PC平台显示。
Design of License Plate Recognition System in Haze Weather
In recent years,with the acceleration of urbanization and population growth,haze weather has been common in major cities in China due to industrial and traffic emissions,energy consumption and other reasons.Haze weather also has a negative impact on the development of transportation,tourism and other fields.In the field of smart transportation,haze weather will make it difficult for vehicles to pass through intersections,speed limit roads and other sections,and traffic control will be more strictly implemented,affecting the traffic capacity and traffic flow of roads.To address the negative impact of haze on transportation,governments and enterprises in various regions are actively exploring license plate recognition systems to cope with hazy weather conditions.The overall design scheme of this license plate recognition system is roughly divided into five steps,image defogging processing,image prepro-cessing,license plate positioning,character segmentation,and character recognition.The license plate recognition system is designed with STM32H7 series high-performance chips as the core,equipped with OV5640 for image ac-quisition and 1.4-inch color IPS LCD hard screen for preliminary display,and finally real-time transmission of i-dentification information to the PC platform display.
