The inheritance and development of Chinese traditional family ritual culture is an important issue that concerns tracing the historical origin,building up cultural self-confidence,cultivating good manners,and culti-vating the virtue and personality.However,there remains still a lot that hasn't been done in the past studies.The book A Study on Chinese Traditional Family Ritual answers the question of"Where should the family ritual go?",which is the original and essential question for us,through identifying the connotation of the family ritual,sorting out its history,summarizing its categories,analyzing its value,and guiding its path.This book,with its cultural novelty,causes in-depth ethical reflection,and undertakes the responsibility of the era with its root and soul.It can be called a masterpiece with its lofty intention.
