Exploration and Practice of Objective Structured Clinical Examination(OSCE)in the Assessment of Medical Students in Clinical Medicine
In clinical medical education,the Objective Structured Clinical Examination(OSCE)has been widely applied as a scientific assessment method for its objective and practical characteristics since its introduction by Dr.R.M.Harden and others in 1975.OSCE objectively evaluates students'clinical application abilities,ensu-ring the accuracy of the evaluation results.In the assessment of clinical medical students,OSCE is not only used to evaluate their clinical abilities,but also provides a clear direction for the cultivation of operational skills and the im-provement of overall quality.To promote the effective application of various assessment models in clinical practice,this article delves into the application of OSCE in the assessment of clinical medical students,with a particular focus on key aspects such as standardized patient training and application,relevant personnel training,and examination room settings.
