Research on the Central Plain Mythology from the Perspective of Central Plain Culture—Taking the Myths of Fuxi,Yellow Emperor and Da Yu as the Example
As an important part of the central plain culture,central plain mythology has a quite rich resource of myths such as creation myth,hero myth,natural myth,and fairy myth etc..A series of Chinese folk culture villages,which are named by the China Folk Literature and Art Association,have much to do with the myths in central plain.Since the founding of new China,the myths in central plain have been compiled several times with fruitful research results.For thousands of years,the myths in central plain have carried profound cultural memories of the central plain in the process of spreading through the documents,oral transmission,scenery and temples,and formed many mythological groups.In the central plain myths,there contain the national spirits such as patriotism,creativity,strug-gle,unity and dream.
