Since the 18th national congress of the Communist Party of China,general secretary Xi Jinping has proposed cultural self-confidence at the national strategic level,and has made a series of important discussion.In terms of connotation,cultural self-confidence involves two basic questions:first,confidence in what culture;sec-ond,confidence in culture's what.General secretary Xi Jinping has answered both of them.In general,it is mainly reflected in three dimensions:concerning the dimension of cultural nationality,it is the confidence in Chinese cul-ture;concerning the dimension of cultural ideology,it is the confidence in the socialist culture with Chinese charac-teristics;and concerning the dimension of the culture itself,it is the confidence in cultural ideal,cultural values,cul-tural vitality and creativity.
