Abstract
Huang Chongkai's novels depict the alienated state of ordinary young people in late capitalist society through playful,sarcastic,nonsensical language and aesthetic style.They depict a group of failed young people who have lost their ideals and enthusiasm for life,are consumed by mediocre and fragmented life,and are immersed in a lonely and huge self world.They depict the spiritual symptoms of decadence and negativity among Taiwan youth in the new century,and explore a problem they face in the era.
