陈白沙作为岭南地区唯一从祀孔庙的硕儒,以主静持诚的修身之基、万化流行的诗作之风,再进而扭转至始道见心的自然道论下,在践履修行间建构了心物相通处"仁心为道舍"的成圣路径,将所知所见内得于心、存诚得道,使得主体达到一个"无尽藏"的心体.白沙这道心合一统摄下的心性路径作为明初学问的开创之端,从形而上的自然道论范畴衍变到具象的天人合一理念,重塑圣贤之蕴.
