Quantitative Calculation Method for the Preparation of Simulated Mineralized Water
Salinity is the sum of the masses of various ions in water. When the actual water sample is difficult to obtain in real time,it is usually used to prepare simulated water, such as reservoir sensitivity flow experiment or water treatment experiment. What kind of compound to choose and how to determine the quality of the selected compound are the key to prepare simulated water sample.According to the chemical background knowledge, technicians often use self-edited calculation formula to determine the type and quality of compounds required for the preparation of simulated water, which is complicated and time-consuming.A quantitative calculation method for the preparation of simulated solution is presented. It conforms to the theory of electrically neutral and mass conservation. The calculation formula of common compound types and mass required for simulating water preparation was clarified.Compared with the actual water sample, the absolute relative error of ion concentration and salinity in simulated water is less than 5%,which can reduce the actual water sample to a certain extent.
