Tetramethyldipropylenetriamine(TMBPA),one of linear polyamines containing secondary and tertiary amino group,is extensively applied in the manufacture of fine chemicals.Typical procedures for preparing TMBPA and application of TMBPA in different fields including polyurethanes,epoxy resins,surfactants,gene delivery vectors,gas adsorption and separation are investigated in this paper.Meanwhile,the major direction about the development of preparation technology for TMBPA is analyzed.
