Construction of Colorimetric Sensor Array Based on Silver Nanoparticles and Its Application in Protein Detection
Efficient and rapid detection and characterization of proteins can aid in medical diagnosis, treatment of different diseases, and proteomics. However, the current assays often have issues such as low efficiency and complicated operation. Therefore, the need for an ideal protein detection method is vital.Sensor array that use silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)as the sensing element have become popular due to their easy operation, high accuracy, and visualization in protein detection. In this paper, two AgNPs with different colors and shapes:yellow spheres and blue triangles, were synthesized to construct a simple colorimetric sensor array for protein discrimination detection. This sensor was successfully used to accurately identify and distinguish various types of proteins with an accuracy rate of 100%.Additionally,the sensor array was evaluated for its ability to differentiate between normal and denatured proteins, achieving an accuracy rate of 96.0%.Furthermore,the sensor array can also accurately recognize and detect unknown samples.
