Research Progress in Waterborne Polyurethane Anticorrosive Coatings Modified by Two-Dimensional Materials
As a new kind of environmental protection coating, waterborne polyurethane(WPU)has been widely used in the field of anti-corrosion.However,WPU coatings have low crosslinking density and poor water resistance, which is not conducive to their long-term anti-corrosion properties. The properties of WPU can be improved effectively by using 2D materials with unique physicochemical properties as fillers. In this paper, three 2D materials(graphene,MXene and hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN))were used as fillers for the composite of WPU.The modification methods of graphene,MXene and h-BN were introduced, and the properties of WPU composite coatings were described and compared. Finally, the development and application of 2D materials/WPU composites in the future were prospected.
