Recent Research Progress in Selective Hydrogenation Reaction on Supported Metal Catalysts
The catalytic selective hydrogenation products are important raw materials and intermediates in chemical industry and fine chemical industry. Therefore, this reaction has important basic research significance and practical application value, and has been widely used in the field of petrochemicals and fine chemicals. It is a significant challenge to achieve selective hydrogenation results in reaction substrates with multiple functional groups. In recent years, supported metal catalysts have attracted widespread attention due to their high activity and high selectivity in selective hydrogenation reactions. In this review, the catalytic effect of metal catalysts loaded on different supports for various types of selective hydrogenation reactions including alkyne to alkene, diene to alkene,α,β-unsaturated aldehyde ketone to α,β-unsaturated alcohol, nitro to amino has been described. The challenges of selective hydrogenation reaction on supported metal catalysts at present are put forward, and their development directions are prospected.
