Research Progress in Phosphor Ceramic/Glass Device for Solid-State Lighting
New solid-state lighting devices(white LED and laser diode lighting devices)have the advantages of long service life,energy saving and environmental protection,fast response speed and high photoelectric conversion efficiency,and have broad application prospects in indoor and outdoor lighting,automotive headlights,projection display and other fields.Phosphor ceramic/glass,as the core material of color conversion lighting device,directly determines the color rendering index,luminous efficiency and other parameters of solid-state lighting device.Fluorescent glass has low thermal conductivity and is prone to luminescence saturation at low power densities,while phosphor ceramic also face challenges such as a lack of red light components and high correlated color temperature.This paper reviews the research progress of phosphor glass/ceramic used in white LED and laser lighting devices,and summarizes the control strategy of phosphor ceramic/glass in color rendering index,luminous efficiency,correlated color temperature and other parameters.Finally,the bottleneck and solution of phosphor ceramic/glass-based devices are discussed,and the research trends of process structure improvement and heat dissipation structure optimization are prospected.
