Study on synthesis of alternating copolyether of tetrahydrofuran and epichlorohydrin
The alternating copolyether of tetrahydrofuran and epichlorohydrin was prepared from tetrahydrofuran and epichlorohydrin using difluoroxyboron diphenylsulonium tetrafluoroborate as initiator The resulting copolyether was identified as alternating copolyether by characterization methods including Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and so on.The glass transition temperature of the alternating copolyether was determined to be-63 ℃ by differential scanning calorimetry analysis. The intrinsic viscosity of the prepared alternating copolyether was 25.8 dL/g.The optimal reaction conditions were as follows:the reaction temperature was 20 ℃,the reaction time was 8 h,the molar ratio of tetrahydrofuran to epichlorohydrin was 1∶1,and the molar ratio of the monomer to the initiator was 200∶1.
