Collation of Stone Tablet Inscription for Reconstruction of Chici Jinghui Temple and Textual Research on Related Issues
Jinghui Temple, located on the northern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,in the middle of the Hexi Corri-dor and along the main arteries between Gansu and Qinghai, bears a Ming dynasty inscription on a stone tablet. This inscrip-tion is a crucial document for studying the governance of frontier towns and Buddhist activities in the Hexi Corridor during the Ming Dynasty. In this research, the inscription was reinterpreted, and the authors—Zhao Jin,the calligrapher Wang Ji-zu,and the rebuilder Shajiashenian—were studied, along with an exploration into Luogulingzhen's life.Simultaneously,a brief overview of the spread of Tibetan Buddhism in the Hexi Corridor was presented. These efforts hold significant value for mining local cultural resources and conducting research on the history of northwest China.
