Abstract
Amos Oz,a representative writer of the New Wave era,employs a delicate and profound style to depict ma-jor social contradictions and conflicts through family tragedies,expressing his concerns for society,the nation,and the in-dividual.His novels on family tragedies focus on constructing scenes of survival and family reunion,with"morbidity,""conflict,""distortion,"and"betrayal"as main themes.This article analyzes the causes of family tragedies in Amos Oz's novels,aiming to explore the profound charm and strong emotional impact of his family tragedies.
