Photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue based on PCN-224 composite carbon points
A series of C/PCN composites were synthesized by the combination of Carbon dots(CDs)and Zr-based porphyrin MOF(PCN-224)for photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue(MB).The synthesized samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray powder diffraction,Fourier infrared spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy and thermal analysis.Compared with PCN-224,18%C/PCN composites have effective photodegradation performance, and the removal rate of light 6 h is 81.9%.The composites of CDs and PCN-224 have great potential to eliminate MB in wastewater and provide a new strategy for sustainable water treatment.
