Synthesis, structure and photocatalytic H2 evolution activity of a Y3+-containing hetero peroxopolyoxoniobate
A new rare earth derivative of hetero peroxopolyoxoniobate based on{P2Se2Nb6(O2)6O22}unit,Cs2K2H6{[Y(H2O)5][P2Se2Nb6(O2)6O22]}2·12H2O(1),has been successfully synthesized by the reaction of K7HNb6O19·13H2O,Na2SeO3,NaH2PO4·2H2O and YCl3·6H2O in a conventional aqueous solution method. It was structurally characterized by IR spectrum, elemental analysis,TG analysis and X-ray single crystal diffraction, etc. The results show that compound 1 contains a V-shaped polyoxoanion{[Y(H2O)5][P2Se2Nb6(O2)6O22]}210-,which is connected in turn to form a one-dimensional chain structure. In addition, the photocatalytic H2 evolution activity of compound 1 was studied.
