Adsorption of nickel and barium in bicarbonate mineral water by modified activated carbon
Activated carbon was modified by acid, alkali and loaded ions. The methods to reduce the content of nickel and barium in bicarbonate mineral water from wudalianchi were screened, and the effects of different experimental conditions on the removal rate were investigated.Orthogonal experiment was designed to determine the best adsorption conditions. The results show that the adsorption capacity of activated carbon for nickel and barium can be improved by nitric acid solution. There was a significant effect on the removal rate by the amount of modified activated carbon and adsorption time.Under the conditions of 45 g input,210 min adsorption time and 10℃adsorption temperature, the nickel content can be reduced to 4.22 μ g/L,and the removal rate was 93.49%;The barium content can be reduced to 60 μg/L,and the removal rate was 78.02%
