Electrochemical detection of nitrite ion by polyindoleacetic acid modified electrode
Through the galvanostatic deposition indole-3-acetic acid(IAA)was electropolymerized on glassy carbon electrode(GCE).The polymerization conditions were discussed and the catalytic capability of the obtained poly(IAA)modified GCE towards the oxidation of nitrite was investigated using cyclic voltammetry and amperometry. The experimental results indicate that the poly(IAA)modified GCE has good catalytic oxidation activity for the NO2-ions in the HAc-NaAc buffer solution(0.1 mol·L-1,pH=2.6).Then The method was applied to the detection of NO2-in sausage samples with satisfactory results.
