Research on the Preparation of Water-soluble MAP Based on Wet process Phosphoric Acid Ammonification Sludge Removal
In response to the problem of generating a large amount of sludge in the preparation of water-soluble monobasic ammonium phosphate(MAP)by wet process phosphoric acid, the use of chelating agents to synthesize chelating metal ions to reduce the formation of impurities is proposed. The results indicate that when the pH level is between 3-5,the product is water-soluble MAP.As the adding amount of chelating agent increases, the chelation rates of aluminum, magnesium and iron ions also gradually increase. When the monohydroxydicarboxylic acid is used as a chelating agent, the chelation rate of aluminum ions can reach 97.18%.When the addition amount of monohydroxydicarboxylic acid is 15%and 20%,the turbidity of the solution is below 100,which can meet the standard of water-soluble MAP.When the adding amount of chelating agent is 3%,the impurity con-tent of water-soluble MAP is the lowest which is 0.14%.The research results indicate that monohydroxydicarboxylic acid can effectively improve the chelation rate of metal ions, thereby reducing the amount of sludge. The research results contribute to improving the quality of water-soluble MAP prepared by wet process phosphoric acid, thereby meeting the needs of agricultural development.
