Based on the three-buoy OC4 semi-submersible wind turbine foundation,a four-buoy floating wind turbine foundation is designed.Water dynamic models for both the three-buoy OC4 and four-buoy floating foundations are established.Using AQWA software,relevant hydrodynamic parameters of the four-buoy floating foundation are analyzed.A comparison of the performance of the four-buoy floating foundation and the three-buoy OC4 foundation under different conditions is conducted through time-domain analysis.The study investigates the performance differences between the three-buoy OC4 and four-buoy floating foundations.Results indicate that the four-buoy floating wind turbine foundation exhibits good hydrodynamic performance,with advantages over the three-buoy OC4 foundation in terms of motion response in heave,sway,pitch,and yaw directions,as well as cable tension.
