Research on the Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Aquatic Product Trade Networks Built by the Maritime Silk Road in the 21st Century
The countries jointly building the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road are important aquatic products trade markets in the world. In this paper, the aquatic product trade data of countries jointly building the Maritime Silk Road from 2011 to 2020 are selected, and the characteristics and influencing factors of aquatic product trade networks of countries jointly building the Route are analyzed by using the social network analysis method. The results show that the trade links between countries jointly building the Route are becoming increasingly close, the density and reciprocity of aquatic product trade networks are at a high level and showing an increasing trend, while the trade trend of frozen fish and crustaceans is better. The aquatic products trade network has the structural characteristics of"core-semi-edge-edge",where countries such as China,Singapore, located in the core area, have active aquatic product trade links with other countries jointly building the route, significantly promoting the trade of aquatic products among these countries.China,Singapore, and Indonesia occupy the core of the aquatic products trade network and hold more structural holes, gradually enhancing their influence and control over other countries jointly building the route.Differences in the level of economic development, population size, and whether the land is adjacent have a positive impact on the aquatic product trade links of the countries jointly building the route, whilegeographical distance has a significant negative impact on the trade of aquatic products in countries jointly building the route.
