Research Progress on Coastal Resilience and New Thinking on Integrating Human-nature System
Under the background of global environmental change and rapid coastal development, the uncertainty risk caused by natural and man-made disturbances has become an important obstacle restricting the sustainable development of coastal zones.Resilience theory provides a new perspective for coastal research. It is helpful to explore how to resolve the complex pressures and potential problems faced in the process of land-sea interaction, becoming a new topic that needs to be studied urgently in geography.Based on the research theme of coastal resilience, this paper reviews the theoretical analysis and empirical research progress in terms of the connotation of coastal resilience, evaluation methods, influencing factors, and improvement paths. The analysis shows that the idea of resilience in the domestic coastal zone has been recently proposed, and the relevant systematic research is still weak.Internationally, the response process of coastal zone to external shocks was revealed earlier, leading to the development of a relatively systematic theory of coastal resilience,However, this theory has yet to fully reflect the importance of human-nature system resilience. Finally, based on the existing problems and challenges, this paper puts forward a prospect for the development of coastal resilience in China, that is,to solve the internal contradictions in the development of coastal resilience from the root point guided by the human-nature system.Taking the reasonable matching of factors as the core, the evolution mechanism of coastal resilience was analyzed in depth. With the support of innovative research methods,a new path of dynamic simulation of coastal resilience was realized. From the perspective of multi-scale research, the key directions of coastal resilience optimization were clarified. With the practical application of planning as the goal, improve the actual regulation and control strategy of coastal resilience in China.
