Study on Hydrodynamic Performance of SPM Ship-Shaped Aquaculture Facility
The floating aquaculture facilities along the coast of China are affected by monsoons and typhoons, which are not conducive to multi-point fixed mooring. The use of single-point mooring is beneficial for in-place safety. For ship-type aquaculture facilities, the use of single-point mooring systems as mooring devices can adapt well to harsh environments. This article uses AQWA(Advanced Quantitative Wave Analysis)software numerical analysis of hydrodynamic performance to calculate the amplitude response operators(RAOs),radiation damping, and first-order wave force under different incident angles for triangular and square floating frames in frequency domain calculations,as well as to perform hydrodynamic time-domain calculations. The motion response and mooring force response of the aquaculture facilities under different combinations of operating conditions are analyzed to evaluate the in-place safety of the facilities in the operating waters.
