The Impact of Environmental Regulation on Ecological Efficiency of Marine Fisheries in China and The Spatial Difference of Ecological Efficiency
Environmental regulation,as an effective means to protect the environment, has im-portant reference value for marine fishery management in China. This paper takes marine fisher-ies as the research object, uses the SBM model based on non-expected output to measure the marine fishery ecological efficiency in nine coastal provinces of China during 2011-2020,and u-ses the standard deviation ellipse method to analyze the temporal and spatial characteristics of marine fishery ecological efficiency. Finally,Tobit regression model was used to explore the im-pact of environmental regulation and other factors on the ecological efficiency of marine fisheries. The findings are as follows:(1)The ecological efficiency of marine fisheries showed a downward trend, and the regional gap was not significantly reduced, showing a trend of polari-zation.(2)The center of gravity of marine fishery eco-efficiency moved to the southwest as a whole, showing a northeast-southwest spatial development pattern.(3)Environmental regula-tion is negatively correlated with marine fishery eco-efficiency,regional development level and industrial structure of other influencing factors are negatively correlated with marine fishery eco-efficiency,and the level of opening to the outside world and scientific and technological support are not significantly correlated with marine fishery eco-efficiency.Finally,based on the research conclusions, this paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations.
