The oceans are strategically important to high-quality development.Strengthen China's maritime development is an important part of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In recent years,coastal cities in various regions are vigorously developing the ma-rine economy and achieve significant results under the influence of the maritime power strategy.Weifang is an important coastal city on the south bank of Laizhou Bay,is stepping up efforts to build Weifang into a strong maritime city,and marine economy has become an important growth pole for the city's economic development.The paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the necessity and four advantages of high-quality development,current situation,and constraints of marine economy in Weifang,with the analysis,five countermeasures and suggestions for high-quality development of marine economy in Weifang are put forward.The research results can provide intellectual support for the high-quality development of marine economy in Weifang city and provide reference for future research.
