STUDIES ON PROPERITIES OF COLLAGEN FROM FISH SCALE
Acid-soluble collagen (ASC) and pepsin-solubilized collagen(PSC) are extracted from fish scale with acid and enzyme methods.The result shows that the electrophoresis spectrum of extract collagen is similar to that of standard sample.From amino acid analysis, we conclude that ASC and PSC are typical I collagen. Determination of thermal stability expresses that Td of ASC is 32.3℃and Td of PSC is 27.8℃.
