典范建构与文化自信:杜维运对王船山史学的现代阐释及其价值

摘要
杜维运以王船山史学为突破口,寻求中国史学衔接西方、走向世界的可行路径.他从历史语境、思想传统、时代趋向等角度对王船山史学进行系统观照,探赜王船山史论的精神基源、思想脉络与史学价值,从而把它与一般文人史论划清界限.他从中西比较视域对王船山的史学研究方法与历史阐释艺术进行类型分析、功能阐释、价值评估,揭示王船山在史实归纳和历史阐释方面的杰出造诣,彰显王船山史学的当代性和世界性,有效回击了西方史学的傲慢与偏见,体现出中国史学深厚的历史文化积淀和强大的自我更新能力.杜维运的相关研究有效推动了王船山史学的经典化、船山学的海外传播,为中国史学的域外认同、中国文化的国际输出作出了积极贡献,也体现了中国知识分子在迎接西方挑战中不断增强历史自觉、坚定文化自信的精神历程.
Abstract
Du Weiyun used Wang Chuanshan's historiography as a breakthrough point to seek a feasible path for Chinese historiogra-phy to connect with the West and move towards the world.He systematically observed Wang Chuanshan's historiography from the per-spectives of historical context,ideological tradition,and trend of the times,and explored the spiritual foundation,ideological context and historical value of Wang Chuanshan's historical theory,thus distinguished it from general literary historical theory.He conducted a typological analysis,functional interpretation,and value evaluation of Wang Chuanshan's historical research methods and the art of historical interpretation from a comparative perspective between China and the West,revealed his outstanding achievements in histori-cal fact induction and interpretation,highlighted the contemporary and global nature of Wang Chuanshan's historiography,effectively combated the arrogance and prejudice of Western historiography,and reflected the profound historical and cultural accumulation and strong self-renewal ability of Chinese historiography.Du Weiyun's related research has effectively promoted the classicization of Wang Chuanshan's historiography and the overseas dissemination of Chuanshan's studies,making positive contributions to the recog-nition of Chinese historiography abroad and the international export of Chinese culture.It also reflected the spiritual process of Chinese intellectuals continuously enhancing their historical self-awareness and strengthening their cultural confidence in facing Western chal-lenges.
