王敔《蕉畦字溯》探析——兼谈对其父王夫之文字学研究的继承与发展

摘要
王敔的《蕉畦字溯》分为四卷:"辨微"卷以《说文》释义为标准,明确文字的正确用法;"订别"卷和"正误"卷以《说文》字形为标准,认为后代新造异体字和字形演变造成的异体字都是别字误字,应当订正;"字书误读"卷以《集韵》所注反切为标准,既纠正民间误读,也纠正不合反切的语音演变,目标是追溯文字的正确使用、书写和读音.《字溯》虽然在形式、内容和思想上都存在一些不足,但继承了王夫之宗尚《说文》的文字学思想,也继承了其探讨字际关系的视角和方法,还建立起形音义三位一体的文字学研究框架,推进了王夫之的文字学研究.
Abstract
Wang Yu's Jiaoqi-Zisu is divided into four volumes:the"Distinguishing Differences"volume uses the definition of Shuowen as the standard to clarify the correct usage of characters.The"Dividing Differences"and"Correct Errors"volumes are based on the character form of the Shuowen,and believe that the new variant characters created by later generations and the variant characters caused by the evolution of the character form are all typos and should be corrected.The"Misunderstanding of Character Books"vol-ume is based on the annotations of rhyme books such as Jiyun,correcting both folk misreading and phonetic evolution that does not con-form to the reverse cut.The goal is to trace the correct use,writing and pronunciation of characters.Although Zisu has some shortcom-ings in form,content and thought,it inherits Wang Fuzhi's philological ideas from his work Shuowen as well as his perspective and methods of exploring the relationships between characters.It also establishes a framework for the study of the unity of form,sound and meaning in philology,and has promoted Wang Fuzhi's research on philology.
