网络流行语"白嫖"的语义、语法及其演变研究

摘要
汉语中的许多禁忌语都出现了泛化现象,并成为网络流行语而被广泛使用,"白嫖"即是其中之一."白嫖"起初是一个短语,义为"无偿狎妓",后来在认知组块、重新分析和隐喻转喻机制的作用下凝固成词.发展至今,"白嫖"的语义遵循着从"无偿狎妓"到"无偿追星",再到"无偿获得正版游戏资源",最后到泛指"一切无偿获利行为"的演变路径.语义泛化后,"白嫖"的语法功能有所拓展,它不仅可以充当谓语、定语成分,还可以构成"的"字短语充当主语、宾语成分.随着语境的变化,"白嫖"一词的感情色彩也发生了褒义或贬义的变化.
Abstract
Many taboo words in Chinese have undergone generalization and become widely used network catchwords.Baipiao(白嫖)is one such example.Initially,it was a phrase meaning"unpaid prostitution",but it has solidified into a word through cognitive chunking,reanalysis,and metaphor,metonymy mechanisms.Nowadays,the meaning of Baipiao has evolved from"unpaid prostitution"to"unpaid star-chasing",then to"obtaining legitimate game resources for free",and finally to a general sense of"gaining any benefit without payment".The semantic generalization of Baipiao has also expanded its grammatical functions.It can not only serve as a predicate com-ponent or an attributive component,but also can form"de(的)"phrases acting as subjects or objects.With the changes of the context,the emotional connotations of Baipiao have shifted,carrying either positive or negative meanings depending on the context.
