The revolutionary normal university is an organic unity that integrates revolutionary culture and teacher education,and is al-so an important highlight in the century long development of teacher education in China.Hengyang Normal University,rooted in the fer-tile soil of revolutionary history and distills the cultural essence of its institutional legacy,fully leveraged its role as the"cradle of revo-lution in southern Hunan"and"inheriting and promoting the advanced scholarship and progressive educational philosophies of the em-inent sages of the South."Relying on the rich resources of a century old revolutionary school history,the university creatively utilized the cultural resources of revolutionary school history to shape the soul and cultivate students,and promoted the cultivation of high-qual-ity teacher training talents.This endeavor has led to the establishment of revolutionary teacher education system that is both exemplary and innovative,and demonstrates the mission,responsibility,and persistent pursuit of cultivating students with revolutionary school his-tory and culture in the new era of normal universities.
