Abstract
The spirit of great struggle plays a crucial role in the development of revolutionary teacher education.Looking at the 120-year development history of Hengyang Normal University,the school has inherited the belief in the struggle of"perseverance through wind and rain",the will to"forge ahead and overcome countless difficulties",and the ability to"demonstrate truth through practice".With the qualities of proactive and pioneering struggle,the school upholds integrity and innovation,expands and updates with the per-severance of down-to-earth and daring to show its sword,and uses the struggle methods of keeping pace with the times and pursuing excellence to return to the roots and make new progress,firmly holds the ideological position,consolidates the foundation of the school,and promotes the development of the cause.The spirit of great struggle is the nuclear power for the high-quality development of schools,the catalyst for continuous innovation among teachers and students,and the booster for cultivating high-quality talents.In the new era and new journey,the revolutionary normal university continues and inherits the great spirit of struggle,which requires temper-ing ideology to strengthen the consciousness of struggle,expanding carriers to cultivate the character of struggle,and enriching practice to enhance the ability of struggle.
