To address the issues of low control accuracy and high complexity in air conditioning temperature control systems due to their characteristics of large inertia,nonlinearity,and time delay,this paper proposes an Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Control(IT2FLC)system optimized by the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA).A simulation model of the air conditioning temperature control system is developed,upon which a robust IT2FLC is designed.The WOA is employed to optimize the membership functions of the fuzzy con-troller.The WOA offers advantages such as strong global search capabilities,simplicity,and fast convergence,effectively avoiding local optima and enhancing the controller's robustness and efficiency.Experimental comparisons indicate that the WOA-optimized IT2FLC demonstrates superior performance in terms of overshoot and steady-state error,thereby significantly improving the overall system per-formance.
