跨境电商综试区及城市区位优势与外商直接投资流入

摘要
跨境电商综合试验区对外商直接投资流入具有独特的制度性优势,城市要素禀赋构成区位优势也是影响外商直接投资流入的重要因素.基于2009年—2021年270个城市的面板数据,从网络基础设施、人口密度、教育支出和产业结构优势构建城市要素禀赋的区位优势,研究发现:跨境电商综合试验区及其城市要素禀赋区位优势总体上对外商直接投资流入具有显著促进作用.异质性分析发现,东部和西部地区的跨境电商综合试验区更能促进外商直接投资流入,但中部地区更能依靠自身要素禀赋区位优势吸引FDI流入;中小城市综试区制度优势和要素禀赋区位优势都显著吸引了外商直接投资流入.
Abstract
The cross-border e-commerce comprehensive experimental zone has a unique institutional advantage for the inflow of for-eign direct investment,and the location advantage of urban factor endowment is also an important factor affecting the inflow of foreign direct investment.Based on the panel data of 270 cities from 2009 to 2021,this paper constructs the location advantage of urban factor endowment from the advantages of network infrastructure,population density,education expenditure and industrial structure.The study finds that the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive experimental zone and its location advantage of urban factor endowment have a significant promotion effect on FDI inflow in general,and the heterogeneity test shows that the eastern and western regions can promote FDI inflow more than the central region after the establishment of the comprehensive experimental zone,but the central region can at-tract FDI inflow more by relying on its own location advantage.The institutional advantages and location advantages of the comprehen-sive test area in small and medium-sized cities have significantly attracted the inflow of FDI.
