Preliminary Study on the Theme of Shuolin:Part One and its Double Fable Reasoning Structure
Shuolin:Part One is a collection of fables that covers a wide range of stories. There has been controversy in the academic community about the nature of its content and its significance in"HanFeizi".This article argues that the content of Shuolin:Part One has a clear theme with fables categorized and grouped hierarchically, which is similar to the arrangement of Neiwaichushuo.Furthermore,Shuolin:Part One often combines two fables to convey a single meaning,it corresponds to the characteristics of Han Fei's frequent use of couplets. This suggests that the content of Shuolin:Part One has its own logical ideas, and is not a randomly organized chapter.
