Research on the Construction of a Competency Model of Ideological and Political Teachers in Universities in the New Era
This paper probes into the concept and connotation of competence of ideological and political courses in colleges and univer-sities in the new era.Political accomplishment is the primary criterion for the competence of ideological and political teachers in colleg-es and universities,teaching and scientific research ability is an important guarantee,professional theoretical knowledge is a solid foundation,professional attitude is a key element,and personal characteristics are personality requirements.Based on the analysis and research of 187 academic journals,a competency model for ideological and political course teachers in universities was constructed,which includes 5 primary indicators and 20 secondary indicators.This model provides certain theoretical references for the recruitment and allocation,training management and performance appraisal of ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities.
