Bi Feiyu's Novels Yumi,Yuxiu and Yuyang(the Yumi trilogy)reveal the survival dilemma of women in the patriarchal soci-ety and express the theme of women's desire.This paper analyzes Bi Feiyu's Yumi trilogy from the perspective of body writing,and re-veals the oppression and bondage of women in the patriarchal society.In the patriarchal culture,women's bodies are always in the state of"being gazed at".Under the male gaze,women discipline themselves and submit to the patriarchal society.In the trilogy of Yumi,women's awakening consciousness of their bodies brings about resistance to patriarchal society,women attempt to sell their bodies to gain power and expose the hypocrisy and meanness of men in the way of"anti-gazing",but eventually goes to failure.Bi Feiyu's female body writing affirms the rationality of female lust,expresses the resistance to patriarchal society,and reveals the difficulties of women's exploration on the road of self liberation.
