The farewell poems on the Tang Dynasty's Mei Guan Ancient Road are filled with deep emotions,and their emotional expe-riences are mainly manifested in three aspects:firstly,they depict the feelings of parting with friends at the time of departure;The sec-ond is to describe the difficulties of the world,during the Tang Dynasty,when scholars passed through the Mei Guan Ancient Road,they often felt a sense of indifference to the world due to their unsatisfactory official positions;The third is the pursuit of seclusion.In the Tang Dynasty,there was intense party struggle,and scholars and officials were frequently banished.As a result,officials encountered setbacks along the way,which revealed a sense of seclusion in the farewell poems.The farewell poems created by Tang Dynasty scholars on the Mei Guan Ancient Road are not only a true record of their social communication,but also a reflection and projection of their emotions,conveying the true feelings of Tang Dynasty scholars at the time of their disappointment in life.
